MRGDC | Workforce Programs | Workforce Centers

Each of the nine Workforce Centers in our region is equipped to assist job seekers and employers seeking qualified individuals to fill positions in their companies. We recognize and provide assistance and opportunity to individuals and families through our special programs and job-seeker services. We offer a wide range of employment, job search and training services - all delivered through the One-Stop Workforce Centers. The One-Stop concept employs a multi-dimensional approach to the process of finding qualified individuals work in their chosen field, to provide training to those looking for a new or different career field, and to employers in need of qualified employees by providing all the services necessary in one location. In partnership with the Texas Workforce Commission and using funding from the Workforce Investment Act, the Middle Rio Grande Development Council Workforce Centers offers the residents of the nine-county Middle Rio Grande region the optimal in job search and training resources.
