Web Site Goals:

The Middle Rio Grande Development Council web site exists to enhance public access to and provide information for its visitors about the nature of the Council of Governments, the programs it administers, and something about the region it serves. To that end, we have tried to provide as much timely information as we possibly can, within reason of course. As it is with many government funded, non-profit organizations, the employees of the Middle Rio Grande Development Council serve many roles and undertake many duties on a daily basis. Because of their dedication and professionalism, the Middle Rio Grande Development Council has enjoyed over 30 years of successful implementation of programs like workforce investment act, aging ombusdmanship, 911 mapping services, and community and economic development.

This site is dedicated to promoting that vision, and while most of the site is devoted to describing the various programs and services we offer, there is a common thread running throughout the narrative. We offer hope and positivity to those who need work, regionalism and cooperation amongst our various local governments, and the power and ability to promote effective change for the betterment of all.

Web Site Redesign and Reconstruction: Update

Web Site Redesign:
First of all, we would like to thank all of our customers for their patience during the redesigning and reconstruction of our web page. The Middle Rio Grande Development Council continues to work on the redesigning and reconstruction of our web page. If you will notice we have added some features that will benefit our customers. The primary function that was added was the accessibility to Work-In-Texas. This will allow for our customers to access WIT directly from our home page. Furthermore, we included some features that will assist our staff in their day to day functions. Primarily assisting our staff to access their outlook e-mail 24/7. Again, thank you for your patience during this long process.

WEB SITE RECONSTRUCTION: >As you may notice by now, we have redesigned and reconstructed our web page. We continue to work on this project and hope to be finished soon. Our sincere thanks to all of our customers for all of their patience during this time. We hope that all of you will enjoy our new web page.
