The Planning and Operations Division provides new or expanding businesses with site selection, financial packaging, marketing and research, incentive packaging, local liaison, referrals and job training services. Within the defined program structures the Middle Rio Grande Development Council has the capacity to organize and deliver the following services:
The Economic and Community Development Departments enable Middle Rio Grande Region communities to finance the construction of roads, sewers, and water systems with federal and state assistance. The Economic and Community Development department, in particular, offers technical assistance to these communities during the grant application process. It is also involved in the planning of land resource management, environmental quality, and waste management.
