The Area Agency on Aging is the regional agency solely dedicated to improving the lives of Our Elderly. Our goal is to help the those in Our region remain healthy, independant, and involved in their communities. Our services are targeted throughout the nine counties of the Middle Rio Grande Region:
Services available through the AAA, range from nutrition services to personal care and information that is specific to the elderly. Services are targeted to persons 60 years of age or older, including individuals who are Medicare Recipients. Our staff is trained and certified to provide information regarding many issues including Medicare/Medicaid, Nursing Home Residents Rights, and much more. Our Access & Assistance staff can assist in obtaining services that may be available through Federal, State, or local programs for either yourself, a family member or a friend. Volunteers are an essential part of our agency's success. We are always looking for those special persons that care enough to give a little bit of their time for others.
