Welcome to the web site for the Council of Governments representing the nine county region of the Middle Rio Grande. Since 1970, the Middle Rio Grande Development Council has served the communities and residents in the region with services related to workforce development, planning, and grant writing, and with out partner agencies, we also providing 911 emergency mapping and addressing, and elderly ombudsmanship and access to aging services. As operator for the Middle Rio Grande Workforce Board, the Workforce Division of the COG provides job seeker services to the unemployed members of our communities through nine workforce centers, one in each of our constituent counties.

Our website is here to provide information about the Council of Governments, the services we offer to our residents through our workforce centers, and the region at large. We encourage visitors to sign our guestbook, and should you wish more information about the COG, have a suggestion, or would just like to make contact with us, we also provide a simple form for that function.
