The Middle Rio Grande Development Council has a strong fiscal management team that can track and report out on every penny invested by customer and center. It has earned a low-risk auditee status for many years and through its dual role as fiscal entity has managed to work hand-in-hand with the Middle Rio Grande Workforce Board, the Council of Governments, and others in effectively managing all funds within its responsibility.
This system has the ability to adapt its budget to whatever resources are available to effectively and efficiently operate all programs. The financial system has managed over 125 million dollars using a staff with over 146 years of cumulative fiscal experience.
