Workforce Case Manager I

We are now accepting applications for this position in Del Rio and Uvalde.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Applicants must possess a minimum of a high school diploma; plus three years of experience in social service work. Preference will be given to applicants with college hours, a degree and/or direct experience.
• Primary responsibilities will include eligibility determination and enrollment of customers needing childcare services for workforce customers who are working or in training.
• Must be able to work on multi-tasks and coordinate benefits with childcare vendors and other agencies.
• Applicants should possess strong interpersonal skills to work with all types of customers served through the workforce center.
• Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Word/Excel and other software applications.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must have the ability to work under pressure and meet program deadlines.
• Detail oriented and willing to work in a team environment.
• Current drivers license, proof of auto liability insurance, and able to travel in and out of the nine county region when requested; some overnight travel may be required.
